The Hyundai Elantra is an economically fit compact car with an attractive style. The current generation Elantra can seat up to five and has plenty of trunk space. It comes in two trim levels: GLS, SE, all come standard with a 138-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and a choice between the standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmissions. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, and active front head restraints. New for the SE trim are a USB port, sport-tuned suspension, and sport shifter on the manual transmission.
