Associate of the Year 2009 – Sam Azar

The 2009 Associate of the Year really needs no introduction.  Sam has been a member of our team for over 20 years.  While his tenure is impressive, it is largely dwarfed by the daily exceptionalism that he routinely exhibits.  He is hardworking and charismatic.  He is never one to hide his emotions or shy away from doing right by a customer.  Highly recognizable both inside and outside the dealership, Sam embodies the work ethic and attitude that it takes to be successful in business and in life.  Most importantly, he is committed to family more than anything else.  It gives us great pleasure to congratulate the 2009 Associate of the Year – Sam Azar.





A.O.E Q4-2009 Honorees

Michael Houser

Michael is in the midst of his 5th year with our company.  In that time he has established himself as a top performer in our Honda sales department.  He’s almost always with a customer when we see him in the showroom.  As a result he’s been a volume sales leader and his CSI scores are outstanding.  Michael is also an extremely dedicated team player.  Several weeks ago on a Sunday, a small group was at the store plowing the lots after a snow storm when a Honda pulled up.  It was Michael.  He came in on a Sunday to help out with the clean up.  That Sunday, Michael snow raked every car on the lot by himself.  His actions that day went above and beyond the call of duty.  Michael’s character, dedication and work ethic are identical to what we look for in an Associate of Excellence which is why this honor is so fitting.

Gary Vance

Gary joined our team at the reconditioning center back in November of 2007.  During this time, he’s established himself as a hardworking, go to guy when it comes to matters pertaining to lot and inventory management.  In addition, Gary has eagerly helped out with everything from moving furniture to staying behind after normal hours to clean the shop floors so that our service department floors are clean and safe.  He has a great attitude and a willingness to do whatever is asked of him and do it the right way.  Gary is the shortest in tenure of our fourth quarter Associates of Excellence, but he conducts himself in a manner consistent with a seasoned veteran of this business and this company.  Congratulations and thank you for all that you do.

Michael Bonner

Mike joined our organization back in December of 2006.  The majority if not all of his time has been spent as a member of our Honda service team.  Most recently, Mike has been responsible for managing our Express Service operation at the Honda store.  Mike has a great attitude and a professionalism of someone several years his senior.  The fact is that this young man comes into contact with more paying customers on a daily basis than any other associate in our entire operation.  This is a daunting responsibility but it is one that Mike excels at performing.  He has the highest survey response rate of any advisor in all of Honda Zone 5.  Moreover, he’s been successful at coupling a high survey response rate with exceptionally above average CSI scores.
